World War II Submarine USS Pampanito San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park

Join Rangers JR Earnest and Chris Edwards for a guided tour on board the World War II Submarine USS Pampanito. Due to the need to shelter in place, this program is a photo-based program using both modern and historic images. It will explore the history of Pampanito’s war patrols in the Pacific, the experiences of the crew (very much an existence of being stuck in a confined space for a prolonged period), and the whole interior of the submarine itself.
