Join the Gilroy Strong Resiliency Center, in partnership with Saved By Nature on a guided nature hike at Mt Madonna County Park! Home to the coast redwood which is the tallest tree species on earth, banana slugs are common in the early mornings. With fog coming from the Pacific Ocean it's a great place to escape the valley heat.
Food: Sandwiches, chips and drink will be provided with turkey, peppered turkey, ham, roast beef, or veggie sandwich options.

Note: Now open to the general public. The intention of this program will be to offer a space for those affected by the 2019 Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting, to come together for guided walks that will build connections and foster healing and well-being. A trauma-trained therapist will be present for all walks and provide an opportunity for debriefing and psychoeducation.
