About the Event
Join us for a walk at Rancho Santa Teresa, today known as Santa Teresa County Park! We’ll go for a walk to check out the Santa Teresa Springs, its source is thought to be from the Sierra Nevada, traveling through underground aquifers, the folklore is that the water has healing even magical powers. We’ll then take a stroll along the trail to Bernal-Gulland-Joice Ranch to see its historic buildings and learn about its past.
*This program is only open to people with disability. A screening process is required for the protection and privacy of our participants, please see our Virtual Nature Hikes page for other opportunities.
In partnership with Virtual Photo Walks, we use smart phones and video conferencing to enable people isolated by illness or disability to enjoy the outdoors with an interactive naturalist.
A Zoom link will be sent to you upon registration please let us know if you need any assistance.
This project was funded in part by the Open Space Authority Urban Grant Program.
