On October 21, 2023, Saved By Nature will be hosting our 3rd Annual fundraising event, Bat Fest 2023, at Rancho Canada del Oro Open Space Preserve in Morgan Hill. The event is dedicated to championing environmental education, social justice, equity, and inclusion especially for families with limited resources. Attendees will enjoy festival games, an outdoor movie, food truck, live bats and more.

Since April of 2019, Saved By Nature has directly impacted over 9700 community members through public hikes, virtual nature hikes, seniors hiking for health and youth education.

Established in 2019, Saved By Nature is committed to fostering a love for nature, wellness, health, and community for beginners & outdoor enthusiasts of all ages in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Saved By Nature works within our parks and preserves to provide a variety of unique environmental programs that educate residents about climate change, and protecting the air that we breathe and water that we drink. We work to ensure residents have a high quality, multilingual and multicultural outdoor nature experience.
 
Our mission is to expose and connect people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and abilities to the natural wonders and recreational opportunities of the outdoors. Saved By Nature collaborates with partners to ensure mental, physical, and spiritual healing in nature. Our vision is to create a world free of barriers and equitable access to nature for everyone. Our efforts hope to inspire advocacy and protection of our earth through safe, fun, and educational experiences.
