After-school
Field Trips

Our goal is to create a space where youth can safely and inclusively experience the beauty of nature through educational hikes. Our hikes are designed to be a memorable adventure that allows youth to discover the wonders of nature in an empowering and positive environment. To enhance this experience, we have a Sacred Recovery Coach who introduces participants to mindfulness, meditation, sound bowl therapy, and cacao ceremonies. These practices help to deepen a connection with nature and promote a sense of inner peace and well-being.

Thanks to the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District's Grantmaking Program, we successfully conducted nine After-school Field Trips, catering to 181 young individuals in 2022 and 2023. We are delighted to share that we will continue our efforts in 2024 and 2025 by organizing 14 more after-school field trips, made possible by the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District's Grantmaking Program.
